Volodalen

Volodalen is a research laboratory in biomechanics, specialized in natural motor preferences.Located in Aigle, Switzerland, the laboratory is dedicated to three objectives:

  • research into natural preferences and the development of new tools for innovative analysis
  • teaching in more than 50 courses per year
  • check-up and coaching of athletes
Thanks to their research, Cyrille Gindre and his team have developed concepts such as aerial and terrestrial, the movement dial®, the preference cursor® or the preference triangle®. A list of their latest scientific and popularization articles is available on their website https://volodalen.com/qui-sommes-nous/

This research content is shared with sports and health professionals through about 50 training sessions every year. Most of the workshops are organised at the Institut National du Sport, de l'Expertise et de la Performance (INSEP) in Paris.

Much of the insight behind the research comes from the coaching sessions. Indeed, Volodalen trains athletes of all levels (from amateur to professional) and in sports ranging from running to horseback riding.
